Stock Market Updates

We've continued to monitor the stock market and how it's behaved over the previous weeks since we released the new improved market. We've identified and resolved a number of issues which will create an even more exciting stock market to invest in.

All companies listed on the stock market have traits which dictates how they'll perform over time. These traits are hidden but with the right analysis could be discovered and used to predict the behavior of the stock and potentially make incredibly profitable investments. 

There are a number of different events which can occur over the life of a company being listed on our stock market:

• New product launches
• Expanding operations into new cities
• Hiring of a new C level member
• Lay off staff due to financial issues
• A public scandal
• Company closure

These events can dramatically change the behaviour and price of a stock, furthermore they can change the companies traits moving forward. The events a company could receive are linked to the type of company and its leadership. Over time a company can evolve and change for the better or for the worse, so ensure you keep an eye on the direction and stability of a company with your investments. 

All stocks have the potential of closure, this can either happen due to a severely poor decision made by the company or when it’s stock price reaches 0. At this point all investments into the company are lost.

New companies are able to enter the stock market, providing new investment opportunities. These are more likely to happen when there are fewer companies trading on the market.
