Good Afternoon, Inmates, and welcome to another edition of Major's State of Play! We are giving you some sneak peeks at what's to come for this year's Halloween Event. To start, let's talk about some new items we will release.

The long-awaited Slice of Pumpkin Pie, this delicious treat Instantly speeds up reading a book by one hour. Next, we have the Ski Mask, which lets you anonymously attack another player. Some may recognize this from the old Prison Struggle, but we've made some changes to ensure it is fun for all. It will not provide any stat buff but will correlate very well with another new item we will announce at the event's start.

The pharmaceutical department has been busy, and a new drug has been spotted in the cells as part of this event: Amphetamine. Same as the Ski Mask, we've made some changes. This new drug will provide a whopping 100% to all base stat buff for the user. With it being the most potent drug in the game, we've added a limit on daily uses.

Next, let's move on to some existing item changes. Vampire Fangs will now provide a 75% speed buff alongside the existing health buff. Furthermore, we will also update the Werewolf Suit's abilities. Instead of essentially being a worse version of the vampire set, it will now have a unique ability to neglect the defense for the first hit in an attack. The changes will continue to be a 50% chance using a complete set without the stake and a 75% with the stake.

Lastly, we will be returning the Zombie Infection in the prison. The Zombie and The Doctor NPC will be returning. You can mug the Doctor up to 6 times per day for a chance at some of the new items that we will release. This portion of the event will consist of two separate leaderboards. Most Zombies killed, and most infections spread. We will continue last year's Trick or Treat event but with increased prize pools and full transparency on the pumpkin drop rates. We will hand out over half a million points among the leaderboard rewards. Along with many other prizes valued at over one million points!

Outside of the above changes, we've made a few other tweaks; we've exposed suggestions on the roadmap on the login page to get more feedback from the broader player base to ensure we get good participation and perspective on the changes we want to make. We've also gone through the suggestion list and cleaned up several of them, pushed more into the roadmap and closed items that are no longer relevant or implemented. We also added a "Take a Break?" feature for 50/50 and contests so that players can self-exclude for 90 days. We have, as always, continued to improve Prison Struggle with a slew of other updates that we shall include in the Dev Blog.

We're super excited, like every year, to offer you an exciting and engaging Halloween event! We're eager to see the engagement with this event and hope you all enjoy the additions and changes.
