Major's June State of Play!

Gooood Afternoon Inmates, and welcome to another edition of Major’s State of Play!  If you go ahead and check the Roadmap, you will see a complete list of events on a live calendar, which you can merge on your own Google calendar and subscribe to updates to!

We will be doing mini-events every two weeks, as you can see listed on the calendar all the way until December! These events include Boss Fight Party, Hourly Madness, and Double XP. We are also working on a new event involving clues- and a new limited loot pool involving a set of clues with juicy loot!

Today I’d also like to talk to you In-depth regarding the upcoming gang wars! Remember that everything listed is subject to change based on testing and feedback.

-New items- We have six new items with the gang war revamp. Five of them are part of a new item set. Prison Boss Set! This new item set will boost the points scored by war, this set particularly favoring lower levels attacking higher levels. But it will benefit all, and a unique part of this set is that your current security level influences the increase in stats! Be aware this will be a weak set regarding stat multipliers. However, you will be rewarded with 2x war points if you can pull it off! The 6th item will work like the current item, mercenary- but for attacks.

Let’s talk bonuses - Currently, there are 18 bonuses available to upgrade with medals. Medals are obtained in various ways, including but not limited to gang wars participation, monthly gang rewards, competitions, and the hourly watchlist! The bonuses range from increased training gains, XP gains, boss fight reward drop rate, joint attack buffs, book reading speed, and more! The early upgrades are relatively cheap, but you will notice it will increase significantly as upgrades are purchased. This will provide a long-term progression with gangs here on Prison Struggle. We are also limiting gang size to 10 members per gang- This will be enforced when the update is released. Currently, there is no set date. However, we are making significant progress. We will give another warning when giving the release date of the update. With the upgradable bonuses within the gang, you can gather 22 total members when the skill is maxed out. Also, to be noted, gang medals will be gang bounded- unable to be traded or transferred to another gang once obtained. Gang war bonuses will ONLY be active on your player if you’ve been in the gang for at least 14 days.

Some detail about the new gang war mechanics.

  • The cooldown between two warring gangs will be reduced from 10 to 3 days.
  • All attacks during the war will have a 50% reduction in hospital time.
  • The number of wars that can be enabled at once will increase from 3 to 5.
  • Point scoring has been better balanced for all levels - low levels in war will still hold a significant advantage. However, the max amount of points obtained has been reduced. Preventing the ability to end wars within a few hours by hitting the max point threshold.
  • Gangs will be able to opt players in and out of upcoming wars to prevent kicking members before starting wars- However, we've built the system to make having as many players in war as possible more beneficial.  Keeping a low amount of players will not have the best results, win or lose.
