It’s been great to see the battle for the first people to get to SL7; it was a great race! Congratulations to the four players who received Major’s UTPs. Our commitment to the game is as strong as ever; we want to keep bringing you new exciting content and updates which are engaging and fun. Much development work went into bringing you Dante and the new SL, so we hope you’re enjoying it!

Our continuation in marketing and advertising is continuing to grow the player base, we see several new registrations daily, and a more significant portion than ever don’t get stuck at level 1. So thank you to everyone mentoring our new players and helping them enjoy and understand the game. The work in the new player experience, from better tutorials, improved EXP, and a gentler initial experience, all resulted in these improvements. We're excited to see how much we can continue to grow Prison Struggle with your support.

We are also excited to see participation in the new Hourly Watchlist; we will continue to receive feedback and improve this to make it a fun and exciting feature for all.

We’re ramping up development on Gang Wars and are excited to bring a new dynamic play feature to the game. There will be some more significant changes, such as limiting gang sizes needed to balance the bonuses we want to introduce. If you have inactive members in your gangs, it’s a good idea to start cleaning things up. We will consult on the final proposal to implement this in the future.

As always, there have been several smaller changes in the background to continue to improve these lovely prison walls:

  • Fixed a bug that caused Gang EXP to display incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Gardeners to believe the user had no water when they should have had their water refilled at rollover.
  • Fixed a bug where a user would still be notified of a dying plant even though a Gardener was in charge.
  • Fixed a bug in Gang Ranks, where they wouldn’t display at all.
  • Completed a new system to make Clue changes easier, adding new Clues and modifying the loot received.
  • Disabled broken voting sites and included new ones that seem to work a lot better. We don’t control the functionality of these external sites, but we do our best to update as there are issues.
  • Improved performance of Attacks, along with viewing their logs.
  • Improved performance of the Hourly Watchlist widget, which was causing occasional lag for players.
  • Improved UI for PMs on mobile to make the functionality easier to use.
  • Improved UI of mobile menu to work better and not wrap onto multiple lines ensuring screen real estate is maximized.
  • Removed 25-player contests and made the system only post more achievable and fair contests.
  • Lowered the time limit of automatic fight disbanding to 30 minutes.
